If you’ve never popped in before, make sure you pay a visit to Brampton Pies on Harpur Street this week and try one of their delicious hot pies, available from Monday to Saturday between 8.30am and 6pm.
The award winning hand-made pies have been subject to some rave reviews on the internet – Basia Seddon has described them as “fantastic - filled with tender, quality meat, properly seasoned. The flaky pastry was crisp, not soggy or doughy as in so many supermarket pies. This knocks spots off any ready made pie I have had - ever. It has home-made quality written all over it. The staff were friendly also.”
In fact, the only negative came from an anonymous reviewer who complained “It took me ages to decide which to buy - they have a really big range and it is difficult to choose.”
Brampton Pies also stock a wide range of baguettes, quiche, and other products, as well as offering a home delivery service.
